How can I use Quick Search more effectively?
- Use more than one character to narrow your search criteria
- Avoid using the following symbols in your search: * ( ) < > ~ “
- Be careful when using multiple words. They’ll return any combination of those words (e.g., Gordon Ramsay will return both “Gordon Ramsay” and “Ramsay Gordon”)
- When searching for a phone number you may use:
- Any part of the number (e.g., 555 will return the phone number 1-800-555-5555)
- Spaces or hyphens (-) (e.g., 1 800. will return all phone numbers with 1-800)
Tip: If the search format is different from the results format, the data may not be highlighted (e.g., 18005555555 will return 1-800-555-5555, but 1-800-555-5555 will not be highlighted because the search format was different from the results format.)
